Nationals College Preparation Program

The Nationals College Preparation Program (CPP) is specifically designed to empower each Nationals player with the confidence to navigate the recruiting landscape.  The program exists to educate, assist, support, and guide all high school age players from the beginning of the recruiting process through collegiate enrollment.

Each Nationals player will receive instructions in the following areas:

  • Playing Opportunities:  The College Preparation Program arms each player with the knowledge of the numerous playing opportunities throughout the country.   Each player will receive information on the different governing bodies, divisional differences within each governing body, and the sport sponsorship opportunities.
  • College Selection:  Each recruiting presentation will provide, in great detail, processes players should use in selecting the right educational institutional.
  • Marketing the Student-Athlete:  Each player will receive a comprehensive marketing plan for their recruiting process.  Each player will receive instructions on creating cover letters, player profiles, and other marketing tools to use when contacting college coaches.
  • Recruiting Regulations:   Each player will receive a comprehensive look at recruiting regulations and recruiting timelines within the sport.
  • Eligibility:  Each player will receive education on collegiate eligibility across each governing body.  I n addition, the club will provide eligibility experts to review and monitor our players progress to ensure each player can reach their goals.
  • Athletic Aid:  Nationals teams and players will be educated in the area of collegiate athletic aid to ensure they understand the aspects associated with receiving an athletic scholarship.

Nationals provides our college-bound athletes with opportunities to be educated on the overall college recruiting process and also to showcase their abilities, through the following:

  • Team and age group specific presentations
  • Recruiting seminars
  • Academic  assessments and transcript review
  • Personal meetings and evaluations
  • College showcase camp, run by college coaches & players
  • College showcase tournament participation
