Dear Soccer Friends,
We’re reaching out to our close-knit soccer family with a heartfelt request for support and prayers for one of our own, Renee Simon. Many of you know Renee as the Club Registrar for Nationals Soccer, the Area Club Manager for Nationals Macomb and Macomb Select, and the Administrator for Junior Nationals and USL Utica. She has always been the backbone of our organization for years, tirelessly working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly.
In 2022, Renee showed incredible courage as she faced and overcame breast cancer. Unfortunately, the news only worsened when a biopsy revealed that her original breast cancer had spread to her lungs, liver, and lymph nodes, resulting in a diagnosis of Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Renee now faces a series of treatments, appointments, and medical consultations, and we’re asking our soccer community to come together in support. Let’s rally around Renee and her family during this difficult time, just as she has always been there for us.
We’ve set up a GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden of her upcoming treatments. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and provide much-needed support as she faces this new battle.

Thank you to our Nationals family and soccer community for standing strong with Renee and her family.
With sincere gratitude!
